Procurement Manager

The Job:


We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement operations and supply chain strategy across multiple business functions. This is a key leadership role focused on improving supplier performance, strengthening operational processes, and driving data-led decision making through effective ERP and reporting systems.

The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering cost efficiencies, improving accountability, and ensuring smooth day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Lead negotiations across major CAPEX and OPEX spend categories, including fleet, equipment, and raw materials
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, service level agreements, and key spend areas
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies across divisions
  • Oversee ERP systems, KPI reporting, and management information for senior leadership teams
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Production, Warehousing, and Stores to support seamless operations
  • Manage purchase orders, inventory control, and supplier delivery performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, including CBAM, UKIMS, customs requirements, and Scope 3 reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems and performance reporting tools
  • Ability to lead change initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Third-level qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
