Role Activities

  • The Process Engineer is responsible for process safety management, technology transfer, production support & process equipment optimisation
  • The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical and chemical engineering leadership to the site to help to help achieve operational & improvement targets
  • The Process Engineer also provides process engineering support to other teams such as Production & Technical Support & Quality
  • Process Engineer oversees standards of process engineering throughout the company

Skills and Competencies Required

  • Competency in process engineering unit operations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organise & co-ordinate resources

  • Ability to work within a multi-discipline team environment

  • Good working knowledge of current regulatory requirements

  • A high degree of personnel integrity is essential for this role

Working Environment:

  • This work involves interaction with all members of the Automation, Process & Project Engineering, Production & Technical Support and Quality teams as well as the service groups on site
  • Working to corporate & local policies
  • Compliance within A cGmp environment in a chemical plant environment
  • Familiarity with unit operations and comply with all relevant regulatory and heath authority requirements


Educational Experience Required

  • Preferably a degree in Chemical / Process Engineering or similar
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Familiarity with until operations involved in the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients
