My client is a leading company in the medical solutions industry based in Athlone. They are currently seeking to hire a Personal Assistant on a 24 month contract basis. This role will be very fast paced, with lots of responsibility involved and exposure to various managers and stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities will include-
Enhancement of employee onboarding experience by overseeing the tasks that help new starters feel welcome when joining and assist their integration e.g. pre-start welcome, scheduling the onboarding, onboarding modules delivery, team and management introductions.
Assist the local Operations recruitment and selection process in partnership with the HR department. Co ordinate the internal Development Assignment process, ensuring all proper procedures and documentation are correctly in place.
Actively participate with HR department with regard to talent development within the Operations team. This involves engaging with local boards and educational institutes on the development of targeted programs that will support the pipeline of talent needed to effectively manage our operations business into the future.
Take a lead role in promoting employee engagement activities both within the Operations group and across the site. This involves partnering with colleagues in the Dublin office and planning educational workshops and webinars across all levels within the organisation.
Schedule and assist in the management of on site tours for the customer experience.
Supporting the management of operations contingent workforce by engaging with key stakeholders and third party suppliers.
Assist in the roll out of corporate initiatives that support the employee experience pillars of Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Well Being.
Assist with the planning and implementation of any site events.
Day to day Operations administration support where needed to the Athlone site.
Provide personal assistance to HR Manager and Operations Manager.
