Payroll Specialist

Our client a top tier Accounting firm in the Mid-West area are currently seeking an ambitious Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll professional to advance their career in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for a number of clients
  • Assist and work closely with clients addressing any payroll queries etc.
  • End to end payroll processing including BIKs, Pensions, termination payments
  • Regular contact with clients to discuss performance and look at any process improvements
  • RSO online – P30’s, P45’s, P35’s, New employee registration forms, tax certificates

Key Requirements

  • Third Level Degree in relevant discipline(Desirable)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Payroll related role
  • IPASS Qualification is essential for this role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team environment
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office suites
  • Exposure to the use of Sage, Micropay and related Payroll software is an advantage
