Our client, a leading Global Healthcare company in Cavan, is seeking a Payroll Administrator on a six-month contract. This is a remote working opportunity.
Perform daily payroll operations and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for consulting any SOP’s for any job task he/she may carry out and ensure they fully understand and adhere to the SOP.
Extract base hours and overtime hours per employee.
Process accurate and timely monthly, year-end and adhoc reporting for payroll related transactions as required.
Input data to computer and pay employees on a weekly basis in line with Abbott Policies and Procedures.
Maintain attendance and sickness records for employees and report as required.
Pay all payroll deductions monthly (P.A.Y.E., P.R.S.I., B.I.K., Social Club) and pay P.A.Y.E./P.R.S.I. within relevant deadline.
Complete relevant revenue returns on a monthly and annual basis.
Maintain deduction lists, annual leave balances, service leave days and reduced working week listing on a monthly basis.
Maintain good relations with management of all levels within the Plant.
Assist with the plant on any required information.
Prepare weekly payroll for all direct and indirect hourly employees.
Submit monthly P.A.Y.E. / P.R.S.I. returns.
Prepare overtime report (weekly/monthly).
Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Payroll qualification e.g. IPASS desirable
Accounting Qualification desirable
5 years of experience as Payroll Administrator.
Good aptitude with figures.
Good computer skills.
Proven ability to adapt to changing demands and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment.
