The principal responsibility of this role is to process payments for Fund Services transfer agency and fund accounting teams accurately in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Process Fund Services payments in accordance with procedures and controls
  • Maintain the Payment Log
  • Complete Daily and monthly Risk and Control Checks
  • Manage relationship with Internal and external Stakeholders
  • Understand Payment Structures and assist FA and TA teams in completing a payment template where required

Key job features & deliverables

The requirements of the role will vary from day-to-day however, the key day to day features of the position and deliverables expected will include:

  • Process payments in accordance with procedures and controls
  • Review and Authorise Fund Services payments in accordance with procedures and controls
  • Manage group Mailboxes and monitor incoming payment instructions
  • Adhere to the currency cut-off times for each banking platform
  • Maintain users on the relevant banking platform

Additional responsibilities may also include:

  • Manage Monthly KPI and KRI Preparation and distribution to control team and business
  • Participation in and ownership of ad hoc projects
  • Managing day to day activities in line with internal and external SLA timeframes
  • Assist in the overall project of Payment system user set ups
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Assisting AML & FATCA/CRS teams on an ad hoc basis 

Experience requirements

  • Applicant must have one years’ experience in payment execution environment and have strong technical skills in payment formatting and technical infrastructure
  • Applicant must have ability and desire to work in a high performance environment
  • experience working in a busy environment essential
  • Experience working in Fund Services beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge/Experience with AML/FATCA is an advantage
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work with all levels within the organisation
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of SWIFT an advantage
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines
