Parts Advisor

Our client, a leading commercial dealer in the Northwest is seeking a Junior Parts Advisor to join their team in Sligo.

The successful candidate will be required to work within the Parts team to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers.


As a Junior Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Dealing with aftersales customers both on the phone and in person
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Promotion/ sales/securing of orders from existing and prospective customers
  • General Warehouse duties including maintaining a clean and safe workplace 
  • Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the computer system
  • Assist in maintaining accurate parts inventory and stock control


  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team as required
  • Results orientated
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently delivered
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Driver license is required
  • Flexibility is required
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external customers, suppliers and the manufacturer
  • A background in the Commercial vehicle sector is desirable
