Part Qualified Accountant

Assistant / Part Qualified Accountant required with 3 – 5 years experience in senior finance.  This role is a remote role. Candidates would need to be close to Sligo for training purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts

  • Preparation and submission of Tax returns ( VAT/Payroll) under review by external auditors.

  • Liaising with Team members across USA,UK and ROI.

  • Maintenance of SAGE Line 50

  • Multi currency activity

  • Mainly AP including payments

  • Limited AR due to contract size

  • Bank posting and reconciliation

  • Month end processes , AP/AR/Bank/Provisions etc.

  • Remote Inventory management

  • Liaising and working very closely with the auditors

  • Management and payment of Team expenses

  • General Office administration i.e. email management, etc.

  • Ad hoc projects

  • Reporting to and taking direction/instruction senior management team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accounting Technician (MAITI), part qualified ACA, ACCA.

  • 3- 5 years experience in a medium sized company.

  • Strong systems skills ideally on SAGE Line 50.
