Fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager to join & lead the set up a new distribution facility of 50,000 square feet in Blanchardstown Dublin 15. You will lead the daily administrative and operational duties of the Ireland centre and manage the additional logistics, services strategy and capabilities needed to meet customer requirements throughout Europe. You will also maintain productivity and achieve exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overall facility safety, operating expense budget, capital expense budget, execution of quality systems, performance management and other requirements as needed to maintain productivity and achieve exceptional levels of Customer Satisfaction.

Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available upon request):

·Coordinate daily activities of Ireland service centre employees to implement and execute order fulfilment and Supply Chain Services processes.

·Ensure that all employees and facility processes are operating in a safe manner and environment and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including required facility maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment calibration.

·Development and execution of facility CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including the required staffing needed to meet operational and financial objectives.

·Lead all Warehouse and Traffic employees in the training and execution of applicable PCS Quality System Procedures to ensure accurate and on time delivery of customer orders and required supply chain services; recommend and draft changes to procedures as needed for continuous improvement.

·Develop and implement additional operational and supply chain strategies and capabilities needed to support customers and PCS commercial objectives in mainland Europe.

·Establishing contracts and operational models with 3PL partners.

·Working with PCS Procurement and GTC staff for optimal supply chain and freight practices.

·Support planning and implementation of additional European PCS Service Centres.

What the ideal candidate will look like:

·5+ years operational or supply chain logistics, preferably in Life Sciences/Pharma/Chemicals industry

·Degree qualified.

·Strong leadership and people management abilities. A minimum of 1 year of applicable experience/training in direct supervision/management is required

·Ability to interpret and apply technical information including overall business acumen

·Strong composition, report writing skills and other written and oral communication skills with effective strategies for interacting with a wide variety of audiences.

·Ability to appropriately represent Company to internal and external clients.

·Have a “Customer Service” approach to relationships with internal and external associates.

·cGXP compliance experience with emphasis on applicable warehousing and distribution requirements

·Knowledge of applicable EU regulations for storage and distribution of hazardous chemicals including REACH and CLP.

·ERP/IT experience with Pick/Pack/Ship and Warehouse Management systems and processes.
