Excellent opportunity for an Operations Associate Director in Packing and Supply Chain for a Biologics Leader in the North West of Ireland. The Operations Associate Director will oversee strategy, planning, and performance of the Packaging Department, ensuring compliance with FDA, HPRA, EPA, safety, and customer requirements. The Associate Director of Operations for Packaging will support the Business Unit Lead in achieving overall business goals for this Biologics Leader.
Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request)
Develop and deliver timely business plans.
Align the Manufacturing Department for cohesive goal achievement and enhanced performance.
Manage New Product Introductions, OPEX projects, and strategic partnerships.
Direct and control manufacturing activities,headcount, capacity, and budget.
Organize cross-functional plans to enhance departmental efficiency.
Ensure optimal capacity aligned with business needs and budget.
Maximize personnel potential through career development planning and teamwork.
Lead and motivate employees through effective communication and feedback.
Drive change management initiatives to support business and employees.
Provide leadership at site meetings, including Tiered OPEX and Senior Management Meetings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Formal Project Management qualification is advantageous but not necessary.
Over 8 years of extensive experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, engineering, or process/product development.
Leadership experience of 2-5 years with proven people management skills.
Demonstrated success in planning and executing projects.
