The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to supervise all areas of the day to day business, ensuring all customers receive the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high standards in customer service at all levels
  • Completing Daily Lodgements
  • Monitoring Annual Leave, ensuring adequate cover
  • Staff Training – Ensuring that all staff members have adequate training levels in relation to customer service, office software as well as depot machinery
  • Involvement in the recruitment, induction and training of new and existing staff in conjunction with HR
  • Staff Presentation
  • Month End Stock Takes
  • Ensuring all trucks are emptied for month end
  • Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed and that all areas within the depot are in a safe condition
  • Audits – ensuring all Safety Statements are in date
  • Working closely with Area Representative to maintain trucks, monitor drivers, arrange adequate cover

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong people management skills
  • Proven team builder
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours/days
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
