Office Manager required with 4 years plus experience ideally logistics / distribution / transport background.  Galway

  • Manage and delegate emails
  • Supervise and assist in managing the daily admin office workload
  • Establish a culture of excellent customer service and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) with a timely and professional response to all queries.
  • Re-introduce and implement the 48hr rule ( no problem or issue goes beyond 48 hours without resolution or being highlighted to you)
  • Ensure phones are answered in a timely manner
  • Maintain holiday requests ensuring daily duties are covered for absentees
  • Assist the National Account Manager in dealing with Key accounts
  • Ensure that DSV – system is updated daily and on time
  • Weekly meeting with Admin Group and department head.
  • Ensuring that all PXP epods/hard copies are updated on time
  • Monitor and organise transport team debriefs – work with operations team to resolve issues arising from same.
  • Assist with claim processing.
  • Ensuring Cross training within Admin department is carried out.
