Office Administrator - Galway - Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and keep updated the organisation’s risk register.
Ensure the organisations operational policies and procedures are maintained and compliant with relevant standards/requirements.
Review, update, and draft governance and operational policies.
Support implementation of the organisation’s risk management plan
Organise and attend company Board and Committee meetings when required.
Support the CEO, Board and relevant committees with administration relating to meetings, the preparation of meeting materials and documents, and their circulation.
Governance support to the Company Secretary.
Manage and develop the administration of Safe Recruitment and Garda Vetting policies and procedures.
Contribute and assist training relevant staff on relevant governance policies.
General Office Administration
Support and develop efficient and effective systems in the day-to-day operation of office systems.
General administration support to the CEO.
Support and maintain filing and data management systems in line with organisational and Data Protection requirements.
Be flexible in and undertake any other reasonable work-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the relevant line manager that are consistent with the nature of the role and level of responsibility.
Requirements:
At least 4 years’ experience in an administration role, ideally in the not-for-profit/charity sector.
Solid working knowledge of risk management and compliance processes is desirable.
Outstanding organisational, problem solving and planning skills.
Ability to work unsupervised and multitask with great attention to detail.
Able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong IT skills.
Experience in participating and/or leading internal audits is desirable but not essential.
