Our client an industry leader in the delivery of Manufacturing Automation and IT solutions to the Life Sciences industry are looking for an Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Based on the south side of Cork, this is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and accountability is critical. This position supports various departments, including HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Finance. If you are an experienced and energetic team player with a professional and proactive attitude, excellent communication and organisational skills this could be a great opportunity for you.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Provide general HR administrative support
  • Responsible for day-to-day running of the office facility 
  • Managing the employment permit and visa application process
  • Managing inventory and office supplies
  • Managing the maintenance of office and facility equipment
  • Maintaining financial, employee, and client records
  • Overseeing quality functions, such as document management and control systems
  • Support internal Health & Safety functions, such as, but not limited to, office safety systems provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety assessments
  • Managing and administering company telephony/communications and office systems
  • Organizing events, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • Diploma or Degree in business administration, facility management, or a related qualification
  • 2+ years of experience with responsibilities in general office administration
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a quick learner with a flexible attitude to work and ability to multitask
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well alone and as part of a team
  • Holds a drivers license
