Our client, a progressive Building Services Engineering Consultancy practice, has a proven track record of delivering award-winning low energy building designs and energy projects across various sectors. They are currently expanding and seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team at the Dublin office. This role involves working within a collaborative team environment, leading projects, and engaging with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the design team in delivering projects across commercial, civic and cultural, educational, and healthcare sectors.
- Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.
- Support team leads in resource management and planning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on-site until project completion.
- Take an active role in project delivery from concept to completion.
- Present and communicate ideas effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an engineering practice.
- Proven experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech; proficiency in REVIT is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
