Master Data Senior Manager

Based in North Dublin on a 12-month contract with a highly established multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer, the Senior Manager Master Data will join their diverse Supply Chain Master Data team. The senior manager will be part of a Global Supply Chain team responsible to oversee the creation, maintenance and governance of product and customer master data. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the EU Master Data team.

  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Job Aids accurately document the processes and daily operations of the EU Master Data team

  • Define cross-functional workflows for data creation and maintenance across the entire product lifecycle from new product introduction through discontinuation

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to understand master data requirements, implications, opportunities to improve the value proposition of the EU Master Data team

  • Define data governance processes and procedures

  • Lead data transformation / integration projects

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to implement changes

Education:

 You will have a Bachelor/Masters level degree required preferably in Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • 7 years of supply chain, operations, or manufacturing experience.

  • 5 years of Master Data management experience in one or more large enterprise global supply chain environments.

  • 3 years of experience managing direct reports.

  • Business process design and implementation expertise in the context of transformative projects such as ERP or advanced planning system implementations as well as continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Change management skills with both large scale transformation and small scale continuous improvement projects.

  • Experience using Winshuttle software for data management.

  • Data integration architecture experience with large scale enterprise-wide applications (ERP, Advanced Planning, Product Lifecycle Management, CRM, QMS, etc.)

  • Deep understanding of SAP ECC master data and transactional data related to supply chain functional areas (inventory, purchasing, order management, etc.)
