Marketing Manager - Hybrid - Galway

This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a growing company. This hybrid position will see the successful candidate work in a dynamic fast paced environment. This is a critical role within the Marketing department, working closely with the Head of Brand and Retail to develop and activate marketing plans which will continue to grow this successful business in Ireland.


  • Define and implement a comprehensive multi-channel marketing plan for the Irish Market aligned with the overarching corporate strategy for the business.
  • Management of traditional marketing campaigns budget (print, radio, customer communications, POS materials, PR, Brand Ambassadors/Influencers/Events) to deliver competitive ROI.
  • Proactively oversee all traditional channels to ensure they meet targets and effectively target our audience with timely and relevant communications.
  • Working closely with the brand management and compliance teams to deliver a suite of marketing materials within guidelines for the IE market.
  • Manage and mentor our IE Retail Marketing Department team.
  • Collaborate with our digital/eCommerce team to develop communications for social channels in the IE market consistent with overarching campaigns.
  • Supporting IE sales team with developing impactful marketing and educational materials for a portfolio of over 1500 pharmacies and health food stores
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously manage and evaluate external partners and agencies to ensure successful execution of projects and materials within budget.
  • Monitoring VMS market trends, researching retail market and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Reporting on marketing campaign performance, suggesting adjustments to improve profitability.
  • Co-Ordination of weekly/monthly reports for Senior Management Team along with bimonthly reports for Board Meeting


  • Degree/master’s in business or marketing is essential.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing communications roles, with at least 2-3 years of experience leading a team to deliver results.
  • Proven track record of executing integrated marketing initiatives and high impact brand promotions.
  • High-level creative thinking and design capabilities - while managing to maintain budgets and adhere to EFSA guidelines within the VMS sector
  • Experience inspiring and leading cross-functional teams as well as leading at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical, visualisation and reporting skills and proficient in use of Microsoft Suite
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise activities to meet deadlines and a demanding workload.
  • Clean Driving License Essential
