Our client, a leading healthcare company, is keen to hire a Manufacturing Team Leader ( Evening Shift) to join their team on a permanent basis in Longford.
The Manufacturing Team Leader will engage and lead a highly committed team. Working in a high-volume Fill / Finish Manufacturing environment you will ensure production targets in terms of safety, quality, and customer supply are attained.

Encourage an atmosphere of involvement, open communication, and effective teamwork.
Motivate employees and build teams to support the plant's policy of continuous improvement and a zero defects goal.
To represent the Fill Finish processes with Quality Management System interaction e.g., CAPA and Risk Management.
To contribute to a long-range planning strategy for the Fill Finish area.
Ensure the area is working within budgeted cost constraints.
Ensure production schedules meet customer demands.
Maintain a positive attendance management procedure.
Ensure all direct reports are always fully trained with regard to safety, method and efficiency and maintain all relevant training records up to date.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility.
Ideal background:
A relevant third-level qualification combined with background and experience with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar people management role.
Some supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferable.
Knowledge of GMP requirements in a healthcare or pharmaceutical facility.
Experience of manufacturing is essential to understand day-to-day work practices.
The Manufacturing Team Leader will lead and motivate the Manufacturing team reporting to the Site Project Manager. They are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Fill / Finish areas. They will be responsible for quality, efficiency, wastage, mix and safety within the area. They will ensure formal goals that are reviewed on a regular basis. Formal performance reviews are carried out on all direct reports (at a minimum) once per year.
