Manufacturing Operators

We require Manufacturing Operators to work as part of the operations team in a medical Devices manufacturing company in Sligo. As a team member in moulding or assembly areas, you will be required to carry out the following tasks in line with all safety, regulatory and organisational requirements.   • Preparing equipment, work areas and materials and ensuring/verifying readiness of manufacturing operations.
  • Supplying materials to the operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner
  • Machine operation
  • Manual assembly
  • Visual Inspection
  • Packaging/Labelling
  • Manual Handling
  • Product Transportation
  • Product testing
  • Troubleshooting day to day manufacturing issues which may impact on efficiencies, safety or quality.
  • Resetting equipment as necessary to ensure the manufacture of quality components.
  • Team co-ordination to maximise the effectiveness of all of the team members.
  • Documentation of all activities in line with cGMP requirements.
  • Cross-training within the team and training of new team members.
  • Participation in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems.
  • Execution of routine manufacturing documentation, commissioning and validation protocols on an ongoing basis.
  •  Updating of operating procedures and job instructions to reflect current best practices.
  • Maintaining the overall cGMP of the production areas.

You should have experience of working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have previous manufacturing experience. Technical knowledge would be advantageous for operating equipment and initial troubleshooting any issues. Good attention to detail and communication skills are required. Competitive rates on offer.
