MANUFACTURING MANAGER – Galway

Role Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and optimize production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves leading a high-performing team, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement to achieve production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the production team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and growth.
Manage production schedules, resources, and manpower to meet targets and maximize efficiency.
Oversee maintenance of manufacturing machinery (e.g., CNC, Salvagnini S4) and ensure optimal performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and collaborate with the quality assurance team.
Monitor inventory levels, working with procurement to minimize downtime and maintain safety stock.
Uphold health and safety standards through regular audits and proactive corrective actions.
Manage production budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Report on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., purchasing, design, sales) to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
5+ years in a manufacturing management role, ideally in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Financial acumen for budget management and cost control.
Preferred:
Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
