Purpose
Support and maintain the equipment, processes, and tooling used to manufacture high-reliability electronic assemblies, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support SMT, PTH, systems assembly, inspection, cleaning, coating, packaging, marking, and production equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and improve yield.
Monitor production quality and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects.
Execute and support preventative maintenance programs.
Develop, program, and debug automated manufacturing equipment.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including tooling, fixtures, stencils, and equipment programming.
Manage equipment spare parts inventory and maintenance requirements.
Assist with process improvements, lean manufacturing initiatives, and new equipment installations.
Train operators and technicians on equipment and processes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures.
Provide technical leadership during shift operations to maintain productivity and throughput.
Requirements
2+ years' experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of automated production equipment.
Level 6 qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
Industrial trade qualification with relevant experience also considered.
Working Pattern
On-site role.
Currently operated on a three-day, 12-hour shift schedule.
