Our client a global manufacturer for the construction industry is seeking the talents of a Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding team in Monaghan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment to maximize safety, quality, and delivery and minimise the cost of manufacturing.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture major sub-components and final assembly of machines.

  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance departments to establish/implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.

  • Implementing best practice standard work on the plant floor to improve safety and quality and maximize efficiency.

  • Management of BOMs and material movement through Plan For Every Part.

  • Develop ergonomic processes designed around Lean Manufacturing principles including Visual Management, 5S and Standard of Work

  • Provide production support to production departments.

  • New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, production launch.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.

  • Third Level Degree in Manufacturing and/or Engineering.

  • Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD and good technical expertise in Mechanical and Hydraulic Systems.

  • Excellent Project Management skills.

  • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
