Management Accountant (FMCG) required with 3 years plus post qualification for large multi purpose organisation engaged in a wide range for activities. Sligo.
Reports to Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts inputs and relevant supporting schedules for review
- Provide monthly progress reports on Capex projects, including ensuring delivery on time and within approved budget
- Forecasting monthly Cash flows for the business unit
- Management of Finance Team with an emphasis on Inventory and Credit Control together with managing all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function
- Management of Bank, Cash & Inventory Reconciliations
- Provision of key metrics to Senior Management Team
- Partner with the Management Team to assure achievement of the overall business unit objectives, including analyzing data to initiate improvements and cost savings
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying & improving any inefficiencies in processes
- Continuous management of Master Data within the ERP system
- Completion of Revenue & CSO returns monthly
- Assist the Financial Controller with the ERP upgrade and other projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with one of the recognised accounting bodies with a minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience
- Excellent technical accounting capabilities and strong systems experience
- Proven record of managing a finance/administration team
- Strong knowledge and aptitude of MS Office applications
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in a FMCG environment
