Our client Ireland's leading Vitamin and Mineral Supplement provider based in Westmeath is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a successful company during a period of significant growth and expansion.


Job Responsibilties:

  • Timely and effective troubleshooting and repair, of equipment and electrical systems issues.

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical control systems.

  • Utilise data reports on equipment and systems to generate improvement initiatives.

  • Support production by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability and OEE targets.

  • Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production delays.

  • Engage with the wider production team in diagnosing root causes of system, equipment, or material failures.

  • Maximise equipment and plant availability through the above root cause identification and subsequent elimination of problems.

  • Liaise with the Production & Quality Manager in the planning of maintenance work.

  • Operation of Engineering Stores to ensure spares requirements are met.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience in a Maintenance Technician Role.

  • Third Level Education in an Engineering Discipline or Completed Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship.

  • Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to identify immediate and long-term maintenance needs.

  • Evaluate solutions and deliver value-added outcomes.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
