Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this process-focused role requires the Maintenance Technician to support automated production in a fast-paced environment.

Your Working Hours

4-Cycle Shift: 12-hour shifts

Week 1: (36 hours) working 3 days off for 4

  • Mon and Tue (Off)
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri (Day Shift)
  • Sat and Sun (Off)

Week 2: (48 hours) working 4 days off for 3

  • Mon and Tues (Night Shift)
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri (Off)
  • Sat and Sun (Day Shift)

Week 3: (36 hours) working 3 days off for 4

  • Mon and Tue (Off)
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri (Night Shift)
  • Sat and Sun (Off)

Week 4: (48 hours) working 4 days off for 3

  • Mon and Tue (Day Shift)
  • Wed Thurs and Fri (Off)
  • Sat and Sun (Night Shift)

*Pattern then goes back to Week 1 and the shift recommences*

Your Responsibilities

As an experienced Maintenance Technician, your duties involve:

  • Building upon and improving existing process design to optimize the process.
  • Driving improvement through effective planned maintenance and fast response to repair issues.
  • Providing input on equipment installation, total preventative maintenance, and electrical maintenance.
  • Calibrating manufacturing equipment.
  • Using the PLC programme to diagnose technical faults and problem resolution.

Requirements

As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will be required to have:

  • A diploma in Industrial Automation, Mechanical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent trade qualification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems and actuators, AC and DC motors and controllers.
