Mechanical Fitter


Our client is a large manufcaturing group with sister companies across Europe. They require a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter for their plant in western Donegal. 


The successful candidate must hold a recognised time served qualification as a mechanical fitter and ideally having worked in a high volume production facility.


Experience with pumps, centrifuges, steam boilers, compressed air systems, thermal heat exchange systems and associated ancillary equipment is preferable. The nature of the business necessitates a flexible attitude to work and a can-do attitude. While not essential, a basic understanding of electrical systems would be an advantage.


Reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager, this position would best suited to a good communicator with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision in what can be a demanding environment.
