This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-leading food and drink company based in Macroom, Cork. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for developing asset care and reliability strategies for the overall lifecycle of capital assets (designing, delivering, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning). You will also act as the system owner for the site's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Main Responsibilities and KPI’s
- Act as system owner/administrator for the site CMMS System - DaMaintis
- Play a lead role in the optimisation of the Site CMMS and the development of the associated process flows
- Coordinate with site Maintenance Specialist/scheduler to ensure that services and inspections are scheduled and performed when due, and that resultant corrective work is promptly performed
- Ensure all equipment required for annual statutory inspections/certification is included within the site asset register
- Responsible for the management of the sites Calibrations Contractor and associated program
- Analyse Equipment History data to ensure that current maintenance programs are effective and fit for purpose
- Developing engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other maintenance problems
- Works with the project Engineering group to ensure the maintainability of new and modified installations.
- Reduce and improves maintenance work wherever feasible; assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience in an FMCG, fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment with demonstrable and transferable skills
- Experienced in the administration and use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (ie. data entry, data interrogation and report generation)
- Knowledge of SAP based CMMS systems an advantage
- Experience in working in an Industrial Maintenance environment
- Experience managing site contractors
