Our client is a long-established energy provider supplying fuel products across Ireland. They are currently looking to expand their team and add a Logistics & Order Management Coordinator on a full-time basis at their office in North Cork city. This will be a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 from home. You will assist in ensuring efficient and seamless operations across logistics, inventory management, customer support, data analysis and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the order process, including scheduling and deliveries.
- Coordinate transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
- Process customer orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries, resolving issues related to orders, scheduling, and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to streamline operations.
- Manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Track and report inventory updates and dispatch requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and transportation companies, overseeing daily schedules and delivery times.
- Compile and analyse data on inventory, transportation, and costs.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for the sales team and leadership.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a logistics, inventory management or operations role.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
