Logistics Coordinator

Our client is a long-established energy provider supplying fuel products across Ireland. They are currently looking to expand their team and add a Logistics & Order Management Coordinator on a full-time basis at their office in North Cork city. This will be a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 from home. You will assist in ensuring efficient and seamless operations across logistics, inventory management, customer support, data analysis and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the order process, including scheduling and deliveries.
  • Coordinate transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Process customer orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries, resolving issues related to orders, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to streamline operations.
  • Manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Track and report inventory updates and dispatch requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and transportation companies, overseeing daily schedules and delivery times.
  • Compile and analyse data on inventory, transportation, and costs.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for the sales team and leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a logistics, inventory management or operations role.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
