Laboratory Supervisor

Excellent opportunity for a Laboratory Supervisor to work on a temporary basis with a Leading Biopharma company in the North West of Ireland. The Laboratory Supervisor will have a QC pharma background and will manage a team responsible for testing all manufactured product (including products in the global stability program).

Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Lead and motivate the team

  • Share knowledge and actively contribute to the training and certification of new team members

  • Conduct performance meetings in accordance with company policy.

  • Collaborate with TA in recruiting team members and ensure appropriate staffing levels.

  • Manage attendance/timekeeping through TMS and address deviations from expected standards.

  • Ensure full staffing and proper management of constraints in the assigned area of responsibility.

  • Adhere to regulatory (QA and EHS) and corporate requirements in all activities.

  • Provide necessary data to support product release and the global stability program

  • Present team KPI data and attend Departmental and APEX meetings, Safety Gembas, and Green Team Meetings.

  • Collaborate with other Laboratory Testing Leads to ensure timely completion of all testing.

  • Facilitate personnel movement among testing teams to meet collective testing schedules.

  • Work with the laboratory trainer to ensure technicians are proficient in required product assays.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

  • You should possess a 3rd leve qualification, preferably at the degree or master's level.

  • Demonstrated success in direct people management.

  • Holds a scientific qualification in a relevant discipline.
