IT and Technical Support Team Lead

Our client, a leading Medical Sales, Marketing and distribution company is looking for an IT and Technical Support Team Lead to join their Kerry based team on a full time permanent contract. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Operations to manage the delivery of excellent customer service to customers and colleagues and contribute to the successful delivery of the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of IT and Tech Support Teams
  • Responsible for maintaining high performance levels of service-related processes and the ability to implement improvements where necessary
  • Ensure systems, procedures and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
  • Responsibility for delivery of key IT projects to support delivery of business strategy and goals
  • Responsible for Technical Support service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations and driving future demand 
  • Responsible for delivery of system and service improvements, ensuring that actions are implemented on time and within budget
  • Leading people management, including staff recruitment and retention, performance appraisals, training and mentoring

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant IT qualification with 3 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong IT Security knowledge
  • Expertise in people management and leadership
  • Strong ERP system knowledge (SAP Business One an advantage)
  • WMS experience desired
  • Proven track record in Identifying and implementing Business Software
  • Strong project management experience
  • Flexibility and adaptability is essential
