It will ensure all inventory transactions are properly authorised and recorded in a timely fashion.

  • Ensure sufficient raw materials are on the ground for the manufacturing plant
  • Recording daily production and stock adjustments
  • Assist in cycle counting of stock
  • Ensure stock records are accurate at all
  • Report slow-moving or obsolete stock to Plant Accountant
  • Report on trends for production planning
  • Creation and placing of purchase orders for both stock and consumables
  • Involvement in the Budget & Forecast of raw materials
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Liaise with Production Supervisors on any supplier issues which may affect stocks
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable department on any invoice queries relating to PO’s raised
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures
