An exciting new role for an experienced People Manager with a background in Supply Chain. This is a new role, in a new department and will bring with it new milestones and challenges. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in high responsibility tasks and delivers. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for global and regional leaders and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that first class service is provided to all our customers globally by delivering the requested Instruments sets on time and in full.
  • The manager will be required to get familiar with the detail of each region’s requirements while being able to present this detail in a succinct manner when presenting out to Senior Leadership both globally and regionally.
  • Resolve any issues with Kit orders to meet our customer’s needs – problem-solving, creative thinking and strong influencing skills are therefore required for this role.
  • You will lead a team of 2, directly and indirectly, a further 6. It is imperative that the manager fosters an environment of inclusiveness, diversity, and fun.
  • Be the primary point of contact between the Global Supply Chain and the Regional Supply Chain Leaders in EMEA, ASAPC, LATAM & NA. Therefore, they will need to be great communicators and someone who can build authentic relationships with colleagues. Escalations management will also play a key role here.
  • Quality and compliance is at the core of the team – one of your responsibilities will be to ensure that there are zero instances of non-compliance within the team. You will need to get all your team members adequately trained to standard.
  • The right person for this position will also play a key role in supporting the development of the organisation which is currently under construction. This will allow them the opportunity to act both tactically and strategically within the role.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Third level diploma/degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • 5 years of management experience of Supply Chain within dynamic organizations
