An Exciting opportunity for an Injection Moulding Engineer to join a global leading manufacturing company on a permanent basis. In this role, you will assist in the development of production methods, monitor the moulding process and troubleshoot processes. . This position is based in Waterford. Attractive package on offer.
Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
- Assist with the design and debugging of new systems, tooling and automation.
- Completion of IQ, OQ, PQ validation reports.
- Process Introduction of New Tools; Tool trials at tool makers and in-house, tool set-up, qualification runs and handover to production.
- Responsible for the Moulding Process Systems including setting sheets, process control, deviation and control of setting sheets.
- Front-line liaison with customers, suppliers and toolmakers.
- Liaising with tool room, maintenance, production and quality on a daily basis.
- Develop/Implement maintenance programs for moulding and ancillary equipment.
- Moulding Engineer will assist Team Leader and Line Coordinators in maintaining clean, safe working environment.
What the ideal Moulding Engineer looks like:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in a high-volume moulding environment.
- Experience in Fault finding and Hydraulics.
- Lean Six Sigma skills are an advantage.
