Hygiene Lead / Senior Microbiologist – Sligo

The primary aim is to oversee the Environmental Monitoring Program on site. The role will involve some testing but will have one person reporting to it who will carry out more of the routine testing works. Some exposure to sterilization processes would be highly beneficial.

Areas of responsibility include; 

  • Cleanroom particle counting
  • Cleanroom Air Sampling
  • Settle plate Monitoring and Surface Contact Plate monitoring
  • Personnel Monitoring i.e. Glove Sampling and Cleanroom Suits
  • Raising investigation when results are above limits or adverse trends
  • Co-ordinating and leading the investigation to ensure actions are initiated in a timely manner in response to the real-time data.

Applicants should hold a degree in microbiology with 5 years post graduation experience. Ideally 2 years minimum experience in the area of Environmental Monitoring/Sterility Assurance etc.
