My client, a prominent player in the automotive industry, is seeking a HR Officer in Roscommon, overseeing Strokestown and Tarmonbarry locations in Roscommon. As a key player, you'll manage employee performance, provide expert advice on employment law, and enhance HR processes.
HR Officer responsibilities:
•Support managers through the management of employee performance - probationary period and performance management processes.
•Advise and support managers on developments in employment law, best practice, and practical applications to assist in staff management.
•Continuously improve HR processes, policies, and procedures in line with changing organisation policy and legislation to ensure HR services work effectively and efficiently.
•Creating and maintaining employee personnel files and updating records such as training files, payroll, and any other relevant information records to ensure compliance.
•Assisting with administrative duties for investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings ensuring all paperwork is completed and retained.
•Maintain the employee handbook and ensure compliance with developments in organisational policy and legislation.
•Deal with HR-specific queries from management and employees.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
HR Officer Requirements:
•Third level degree in HRM or related discipline.
•Strong performance management and ER skills is essential.
•A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and the ability to work on your own initiative.
•Have a highly organised, flexible, and proactive approach to daily priorities and task workload.
•Ability to converse and advise senior management.
