This a great opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a well-known not-for-profit organisation based here in Cork. Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the business and having significant input into the people strategy. The HR Manager will champion operational excellence, deliver people solutions and enable the leaders of the organisation. If you have 3+ years HR Manager/HRBP level experience (including ER) and are someone with a passion for coaching this could be an exciting and very rewarding opportunity for the next step in your career. Overview of main responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Working with key stakeholders on the implementation & review of the people strategy plan
  • Collaborating with Management to drive & maximise the engagement of all employees and build company commitment to the desired culture
  • Lead the deployment and development of Continuous Performance Management to drive improvements, consistency and skills management
  • Partner closely with the Line Managers in areas such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development; HR Operations, engagement and employee relations to support the design and development of key HR initiatives
  • Provide effective coaching for management and support the development of line managers' knowledge, skills and leadership effectiveness through coaching 
  • Oversee the implementation of the new HRIS

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • 3+ years HR Manager/HR Business Partner level experience incorporating employee relations, recruitment and performance management 
  • CIPD qualified/3rd level degree in HR
  • Consultative style approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
  • IR experience desirable 
  • Experience in performance management, talent management and succession planning processes and systems
  • Experience in organizational development, change management, employee engagement and learning and development desired
  • Experience of streamlining, improving and automating existing processes along with plenty of experience using technology to make your work more efficient
  • A “hands-on” and “can do” attitude that can influence through collaboration and leadership
  • Proven track record of improvements and continuous improvements
