HR Generalist - Galway - 12 Month Contract - Hybrid


  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters.

  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on various HR matters, such as performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.

  •  Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data.

  • Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics, such as turnover, open roles, absenteeism, headcount, and diversity.

  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Projects and Processes

  • Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, values, and goals.

  • Initiate, lead or participate in a broad range of projects and initiatives such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and wellness activities.

  • Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a HR role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for HR and people development.
