HR Administrator
An exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join a leading global manufacturing organisation based in Clara, Co. Offaly. This role will provide HR administration and coordination support across the full employee lifecycle and is ideal for an organised, detail-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a positive employee experience.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the full recruitment and onboarding process, including job adverts, candidate screening, interview coordination, references, offers, contracts, and inductions.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and Time & Attendance systems, ensuring GDPR compliance and data integrity.
- Support payroll administration, including starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and Cycle to Work.
- Maintain attendance, leave, absence, and overtime records and support absence management, Occupational Health referrals, and return-to-work processes.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner across employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, variations, HR correspondence, and employee documentation.
- Track probationary periods and employee warnings, ensuring relevant documentation is issued on time.
- Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries, escalating complex matters where required.
- Prepare HR reports and people metrics, including headcount, recruitment, turnover, and absenteeism.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, audits, and HR compliance activities.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, and templates.
- Liaise with external providers and agencies as required and provide general HR administration support.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR administration role.
- 3rd level qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- CIPD qualification or currently working towards CIPD is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience with HRIS, Time & Attendance, and payroll processes.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, absence, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of GDPR and confidential employee information.
- Manufacturing or regulated environment experience is desirable.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Professional, proactive, and approachable with strong relationship-building skills.
