Support the safe and compliant operation of a fast-paced industrial environment by promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and legal requirements while driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk reduction measures
- Develop and maintain safe operating procedures
- Perform regular site inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and industry standards
- Investigate incidents, maintain records, and produce reports/statistics
- Advise on fire safety, hazardous substances, noise, machinery safety, and occupational health
Training & Awareness
- Deliver manual handling and H&S training
- Lead internal training sessions for employees and management
- Promote safety awareness and best practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline
- 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or service environment
- Strong risk assessment and reporting capability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- ERP knowledge (desirable)
- DGSA qualification (desirable)
