Head of Sales - Permanent
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead their sales team and drive their growth strategy. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional commercial acumen, a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams, and the strategic vision to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive growth and enhance their market presence. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies based on market trends and customer needs.
- Oversee performance management of the sales team, ensuring high levels of customer retention and key account management.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer relationships and sales data effectively.
- Prepare and manage tenders and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
- Foster a results-oriented culture with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Address and solve challenges that arise in the sales environment, whether internal or external.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the oil distribution or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and sales techniques.
- Exceptional IT skills, with proficiency in CRM systems and tender preparation processes.
- Strategic thinking capabilities with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey expectations, provide feedback, and align team members with sales objectives.
- At least 10 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior management.
- Demonstrated excellent commercial acumen with an ability to understand market dynamics and drive profitable growth.
