Recruitment Specialist

Great opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join a growing indigenous, medical organisation with their HQ here in Cork. This will be a highly visible role where you will have the unique opportunity to expand the recruitment function and build on the significant customer base the business has established across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have either agency/in-house recruitment experience, along with a drive to grow the function. Positive work environment, along with an attractive package on offer. Hybrid working model.

Overview of main responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: You will be responsible for building a pipeline of eligible and qualified candidates in order to place healthcare staff with clients across various sectors.

  • Business Development: The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the customer base. You will work closely with the CEO in setting the strategic direction of their Recruitment business. The Head of Recruitment will have a strong sales and business development track background with a proven track record in growing sales and building lasting relationships with clients.

  • Clinical Governance: The Head of Recruitment will work closely with the Medical Director in the clinical governance of the service. You will ensure candidates recruited have the qualifications to perform their duties within the scope of the roles.

  • Management: As they grow this service, it is envisaged that new team members will come onboard. They will report directly to the Head of Recruitment who will lead, inspire and manage their growing team.

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • In-house/Agency Recruitment Experience

  • Self-Starter & Customer-Centric

  • Proven track record in growing a desk/sales

  • Experience in managing teams and growing a business or business unit

  • Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential
