Head of Human Resource & Operations EMEA required for a digital IT Company - Remote

My client is looking for an experienced and driven Head of HR & Operations to build up and scales the HR and operational functions for their quickly growing Ireland office. 


  •  Creates, builds, and owns all HR processes in our Ireland office, including but not limited to: recruitment, employee retention and engagement, and business/people operations and strategy
  • Owns all HR processes and practices locally, ensuring they are suited for our hyper-growth and have the scalability factor built into them
  • Responsible for the local compliance of our people operations, policies, and processes
  • Has ownership and works with our local vendors, to ensure our vendor landscape matches the needs we have locally
  • Provides advice, information, and support to management and employees on local HR policies and procedures in line with best practice
  • Focuses on optimization & continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures. Ensures that all employment policies are up to date & in line with local legislation
  • Drives recruitment activities for the Ireland office ensures the necessary support in all stages of the recruitment process
  •  Encourages employee engagement and communication with events and team-building activities
  • Supports development and implementation of training programs that are directly relevant and beneficial
  • Drives visibility within the Irish marketplace, creating relationships with local organisations
  • Owns financial responsibilities for Ireland office, including budget management and reporting


  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an HR leadership position within a growing tech company
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels
  • Extreme ownership and accountability
  •  Demonstrated ability to influence, inspire and motivate others
  • Capacity to coach employees
  • Plan and prioritize own workload to meet objectives, balancing competing demands
  • Able to build strong relationships across organizations
  •  Business-minded & passion for HR
  •  Initiative to resolve problems and issues
  •  Detail-oriented, and comfortable creating reports
  •  Experience in recruitment & employee engagement
  •  Experience in developing or implementing HR projects
