Our client is currently going through an unprecedented and exciting period of growth and development and is now looking for a committed and motivated Graduate Chemistry Analyst to join their team. This is a permanent position and training will take place in Galway.
Training will be provided in the following techniques:
- cGMP/Data Integrity training on all aspects of a Laboratory Quality System including gowning, laboratory safety, completion of records/correction of errors, deviations, out-of-specification results, calibrations, reference standards, and recording of quality data as per cGMP.
- HPLC - Waters 2695 HPLC with UV Detector
- UPLC.
- TOC.
- Wet Chemistry.
- General laboratory duties – housekeeping including clean bench policy, glassware cleaning and washing, waste disposal, calibration of balances daily, and calibration of auto-pipettes on a weekly basis, etc.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Chemistry, Forensic Investigation & Analysis, or a similar degree with a strong laboratory analysis focus.
- Knowledge of HPLC and familiarity with Empower software.
- Strong documentation skills are required.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be motivated, focused, and technically strong.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the full requirements are met.
- Full license/car owner is a distinct advantage.
- Must be open on location.
