A Global Marketing & Communications Manager is required for an exciting new company in Galway.
This is a critical role that would contribute to successfully executing the business blueprint by researching, developing, implementing, measuring, and managing purpose-built 360 marketing and communication strategies for the different key audience segments, ensuring its strategic escalation on the global structure.
This role will report and work directly with the V.P of Global Strategic Development as well as with the Divisional Global Leaders and Senior Directors from Key operational departments.
We are seeking an experienced marketing strategist that will be able to:
Define the roadmap to translate our corporate vision into marketing and communication scalable initiatives.
Translate our business objectives into world-class marketing experiences with clear outcomes.
In partnership with global leadership, define audience targets and priority markets to align to the corporate plan.
Create compelling, integrated strategies for the different brands under the corporate umbrella – understanding and enforcing each brand’s personality and goals while keeping a cohesive integration under the family.
Focus on brand building and bringing brands to life through fully integrated campaigns aligned with the corporate blueprint. As well as on building audiences, engaging, and generating demand.
Lead and leverage a pool of outsourced talent design, creating and delivering content digitally native and connected to our corporate soul to external and culture to internal audiences.
Think Big Picture - must be able to step back and see the larger strategic picture and operate at a 30,000-foot view as well as dive down into the detail with the team, rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.
Specific KPIs will be defined. In general terms:
Global Marketing Plan defined and aligned with Blueprint
Local strategies and initiatives in place for each division
Activation of Multi-channel Initiatives - Social Networks
Marketing ROI - Sales and Revenue
Audience Building – Vanity metrics (#Leads, Followers, Engagement)
Acquisition: Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL), Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)
Experienced professional with proven exposure in the field.
Proven track record of growing a brand and demonstrated positive ROI marketing successes within target.
Experience providing data insights and reports focusing on measurable objectives, including CPA, conversion rates, performance per channel, etc.
Experience with direct marketing methodologies and managing customer acquisition campaigns for multiple online channels to deliver qualified visits and sales within budget.
Capacity to identify and execute on untapped potential marketing channels and partnerships that can drive high volumes for low CPA.
Ability to translate corporate vision and objectives into innovative marketing strategies.
In-depth understanding of the Digital marketing tools, Social Media campaigns, and the latest trends and tools, how to best engage with current and potential customers through the use of this medium, providing analysis and recommendations based on best practices
Curiosity for learning and being on top of the latest trends would allow us to connect and engage with our different customer segments.
Solid grasp of the financial metrics that drive the business. Ability to demonstrate how marketing impacts the company’s bottom line and articulate that impact with financial metrics such as growth and revenue.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to effectively accomplish daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual goals while possessing the ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-3 year time span.
Intercultural communication savvy – has a capacity to plan globally and execute locally, understanding cultural nuances, and quickly adapt the message to highly-diverse audiences.
Data-driven – Its’ strategic thinking and creativity are constantly in connection and supported by data. Must be able to analyze data and translate it into valuable information. (SEO & SEM)
Technology proficiency in using and taking advantage of CRMs, content management platforms, marketing automation tools, social media, reporting analytics, etc.
Has an eye for understanding the customer user experience from end to end, finding significant milestones or roadblocks in the customer journey, and finding ways for continuous improvement.
Multilingual: Preferable if fluent in Spanish and English languages.
Travel enthusiast: Finds value in visiting and experiencing new places and cultures.
