We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking General Operator to join an established manufacturing team on a Night Shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy production environment, is comfortable operating machinery, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate folding machines, glue systems and other production equipment
Monitor machinery during production and carry out basic troubleshooting where required
Complete regular quality checks on finished products
Ensure all products meet required customer specifications and quality standards
Follow all relevant health & safety procedures, SOPs and quality guidelines
Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
Work closely with other members of the production team to ensure smooth operations
Achieve agreed production, quality and efficiency targets
Report any machinery, quality or production issues to the appropriate team member
Requirements
Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operating experience is an advantage
Comfortable working a night shift
Strong attention to detail and a good approach to quality
Basic numeracy skills
Good communication skills
Ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions
Good written and spoken English
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
