General Manager EMEA

The General Manager for the Service Technology Centres (STC's) EMEA Region will provide a high-quality performance with strategic direction for the Semiconductor and Vacuum Technique Service Divisions that enable ongoing profitable growth across 4 STCs located in Ireland, Czech, Germany & Israel incorporating +240 staff.  

General Manager responsibilities:

Operations Responsibility for all Operations functions to include all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost and environment

Product Development Create (service Portfolio) and manage through it’s lifecycle an innovative and reliable product portfolio that is in line with customer needs and Business Unit requirements and strategies. Responsible for the introduction of new products into a support environment. Generate and deliver plans for the end of life products through the distributed manufacturing strategy

People Will create a management structure capable of delivering the business and strategic plan. Attract, develop and retain the best people and encourage diversity in line with corporate values. Create effective relationships with internal and external customers built on trust and respect. Provide leadership, coaching & mentoring for the regional support team, developing the right team behaviours

Strategy Lead operations regional strategic direction and be a critical player in the generation of divisional strategy. Position STC structure for future needs taking into account geographical challenges, customers, costs and supply chain considerations

General Manager requirements:           

• Degree in an engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience

• Proven track record in Operations Management, ideally in a machining/electronics/light assembly environment or experience in Technical/Engineering Management with particular knowledge of (NPI) New Product Introduction and Project/Program Management of complex, multidimensional products.
