General Ledger Accountant
General Ledger Accountants required on a contract basis with 2 years plus experience. Based in Mayo.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly accounts for responsible entities to meet company reporting requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley, maintain good accounting practices and meet the requirements of Internal and External Auditors.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with Corporate and Local Finance groups.
• Provide back up to team members and participate in projects as required.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Post Journals
• Manage fixed assets
• Provide back up for other team members
• Fully or part qualified accountant
• 2 years’ experience in financial environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Good systems knowledge - preferably SAP
