General Ledger Accountants required on a contract basis with 2 years plus experience. Based in Mayo.


Responsibilities:

                    Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly accounts for responsible entities to meet company reporting requirements.

                    Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley, maintain good accounting practices and meet the requirements of Internal and External Auditors.

                    Develop and maintain good working relationships with Corporate and Local Finance groups.

                    Provide back up to team members and participate in projects as required.

                    Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile intercompany accounts

                    Post Journals

                    Manage fixed assets

                    Provide back up for other team members


Requirements:

 

                    Fully or part qualified accountant

                    2 years’ experience in financial environment

                    Proficiency in Excel

                    Good systems knowledge - preferably SAP
