Financial Reporting Manager

Our client is seeking talented individual to lead their financial reporting team and oversee the Record to Report (RTR) processes at their Shared Service Centre in Dublin South.

You will support the Medical device division with a large team covering Commercial, Regional Distribution centres and Manufacturing sites.

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing RTR processes.

Financial Reporting Manager responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage an accounting team responsible for the end-to-end financial accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.

  • Drive the evolution of the Target Operating Model (TOM) by pinpointing prospects to delegate supplementary tasks to external partners and incorporating intricate processes into the regional shared services structure.

  • Establish and report on performance measures, KPIs, and goal-setting processes to support the objectives of Shared Services.

  • Drive the month-end close process, implementing governance measures, and overseeing associated corporate reporting.

  • Support the professional development of team members through training and development initiatives.

  • Lead the team in executing ad hoc and special project assignments.

  • Ensure the delivery standards of Service Agreements with internal customers and third-party outsource service providers are upheld.

Key Requirements of Financial Reporting Manager:

  • 3-5 years of experience in people management, including mentoring and developing teams.

  • Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

  • Experience in a complex global environment, preferably within Shared Services, servicing a multi-currency, US GAAP-based financial close.

  • Knowledge of SAP or other major ERP Systems is desirable.

  • Experience in SAP system migration is a plus.
