Currently recruiting a Financial Operations Manager within one of Ireland’s most reputable public institutions based in Dublin city centre. Initial 5-Year Fixed Term Contract. The successful person will undertake a leadership role in this future-facing and strategically focused team and will have overall responsibility for the management of financial operations, its subsidiaries, and other stakeholders. Very flexible hybrid working.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A background in Financial Operations, process, and/or system improvement, ideally gained in an organisation of a similar scale with mappable challenges. Higher Education and/or Public Sector experience is an advantage.
- Strong competence in Oracle (or similar financial accounting packages), Excel, and related software solutions is required and experience in using technology as a driver of efficiency
- Experience in an Oracle or other computerised accounting environment is essential
- Experience in a management/leadership role in a business of a similar scale
Must be a fully Qualified accountant with 10+ years PQE, with a membership of an accounting body recognised in Ireland.
