Financial Analyst II

We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst with one of the leading multinational manufacturers in Cork. Permanent role with hybrid working options. Competitive overall package and based on the south side of Cork city.


Overview of responsibilities (full job spec available on request):

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Responsible for the quarterly planning process for Scrap, Productivity & Manufacturing Variances; Standard Costing analysis at annual planning cycle.
  • Provide analytical and interpretive support to operations management; Hold weekly/monthly reviews to drive superior performance; Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Involvement in projects.
  • Responsible for analysing & reporting monthly manufacturing variances by business unit.
  • Responsible for Inventory reporting from the Finance department’s perspective.
  • Responsible for reporting of monthly CI projects and play an active support role in identifying, supporting and reporting new CI programmes.
  • SOX compliance: Ensuring robust internal controls and performing testing

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • 2-5 years PQE in Financial Planning & Analysis within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Highly adaptable, solution-orientated with a lean/CI track mindset.
  • Financial ERP system knowledge, SAP preferably, a distinct advantage.
